SUMMARY:Forkhorn I Camp
DESCRIPTION:(Ages 11-15) Your child will learn beginning hunting skills. Extensive hands-on instruction in basic safety and shooting techniques for rifle\, shotgun\, and archery. Includes Whitetail deer ecology\, outdoor survival skills\, and Hunters ethics. Plus\, traditional camp activities like canoeing and rock climbing. MN DNR Firearm Safety Certification included. \nMonday\, June 16 – Friday\, June 20\, 2025\nTime:  9:00-4:00pm (Monday through Thursday)\n9:00-12:00pm (Friday\, Shooting Range Day) \nLocation: Education Building\, Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center \nFee: $379  (A $100 deposit is due at registration and payment in full prior to the start of camp) \nYou will also need to fill out the MN DNR “Firearm safety Hunter education program student registration-parental release and self-certification form” at check in.
