The Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibit is History
The Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibit has now moved on to Nicolett County Historical Society in St. Peter, MN.
after showing at PWELC from June 25-August 7, 2016. Many thanks to Minnesota Humanities Center, the Smithsonian Institute, MPCA, DNR, Dept. of Health, Kandiyohi County Historical Society, NL-S YES! team and John White for sharing exhibits and displays.
The Prairie Woods Pavilion- The excitement is building!
Genesis Architects and Kandiyohi County are preparing to put the Pavilion project out for bids in the next two weeks.
With generous early contributions from our Prairie Stars, individual donors and support pledged by Kandiyohi County we have already raised over $200,000 for the project. If you would like to "buy a piece of the pavilion" please contact Exec. Director, Dave Pederson at 320-354-5894.

Prairie Woods on the go! The Big Canoe and the new Prairie Woods Pinnacle- mobile rockclimbing tower, have been very busy throughout the region this summer getting kids up off of the couch and into the great outdoors. Click on the Facebook link to see photos of some of the recent activity.
