Members, join us to learn about the beauty and importance of the native prairie—a landscape as special and valued as our members are! This workshop offers a unique opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate and appreciate the natural wonders we strive to protect.
Hosted by Jennifer Swenson, Executive Director, and Scott Glup, Board President, this members-only event features a guided hike through our beautiful prairie ecosystem overlooking Lake Florida. With about 99% of Minnesota’s original prairie lost, our preserved prairie provides an invaluable chance to connect with a habitat that’s a rare treasure in our region.
Following the workshop, we invite you to enjoy refreshments, mingle with fellow members, and share your insights from the day.
